KITCHEN INVENTORY APP
Kitchen inventory that leads to a useful next meal
FridgeFox keeps reviewed ingredients in one account-backed kitchen inventory, then uses that list for expiry visibility and recipe matching. Photo scans reduce initial typing, manual entry covers what the camera misses, and transparent recipe matches show both available and missing ingredients. The product favors a maintainable pantry over a complex warehouse-style location system.

What belongs in a useful kitchen inventory?
Record food at the level you actually cook with: ingredient name first, then quantity, unit, category, or date only when it changes a decision. The same list can represent food from the fridge, freezer, pantry, or counter, although the current interface does not create separate location views.
A photo is most useful for a visible group of items. Manual entry remains the quickest route for one ingredient, a hidden package, or a correction.
How does FridgeFox connect inventory and recipes?
Recipe cards calculate a match from the saved ingredient list and clearly separate what you have from what is missing. That makes it easier to compare several realistic options before shopping.
FridgeFox is not a weekly meal planner and does not generate an automatic shopping list. It helps with the narrower decision: which available recipe is closest to the pantry you have reviewed.
Which plan fits a kitchen inventory?
Pro is designed for one personal kitchen. Family supports one owner plus up to five members with a shared pantry and recipe context. Both are paid plans with monthly and yearly billing shown on the pricing page.

Both descriptions refer to the same account-backed ingredient list. FridgeFox calls it a pantry even when users add food photographed in a fridge, freezer, or on a shelf.
Can I track expiry dates?
Yes. Dates are optional and entered by the user.
Can I export the full inventory?
A public export feature is not currently promised, so choose another workflow if export is essential.
