SHARED PANTRY APP
A shared pantry app for one real household
The FridgeFox Family plan lets one owner and up to five members use the same household pantry and recipe context. Members join with an owner-generated code, and the shared list reflects accepted photo detections and manual entries. It is built for a small household, not public collaboration, multiple independent kitchens, or a general grocery-list network.

How does household sharing work?
The owner creates an invite code in account settings. A member joins the household, and pantry access resolves to the owner’s shared data context. The plan supports six people total: one owner and five members.
The household also shares the scan allowance context. Invite codes should be treated as private access credentials and shared only with the intended household.
What makes a shared pantry stay useful?
Agree on a lightweight routine: save only reviewed scan results, remove used ingredients, and avoid duplicate manual entries. The application cannot tell which person physically moved or used food unless someone updates the list.
For couples or roommates, the value is a shared reference before shopping and cooking—not surveillance or perfect stock accounting.
When is FridgeFox not the right shared app?
Choose another product if you need a dedicated shared grocery list, receipt import, barcode workflows, multiple storage databases, or enterprise inventory controls. FridgeFox is intentionally centered on reviewed photos, a shared pantry, expiry fields, and recipe matching.
